An Extraordinary, Dynamic Landscape

Veltoor sits 5 minutes off the Hyderabad–Bengaluru highway, 2 hours from Gachibowli, inside one of the region's fastest-growing corridors. A nearly 400-acre lake borders the site, fed by irrigation canals on 3 sides, across a mix of soils that gave the restoration real range to work with. Hillocks frame the land on the horizon. This wasn't a convenient plot picked off a map. We chose it for what it needed, restoration, and for having just enough to make both a forest and an economy possible once it was restored.
